Are you interested in becoming a brother of Lambda Theta Phi?  Outlined below are the necessary steps that will take you from being part of an interest group.

The steps are the following:

1. Minimum of five (2) men interested in becoming a Brother.

2. Inform the Rafael Martinez (see contact page), and/or the Multicultural Greek Council of the Univeristy of Connecticut of your desire of a member of this organization.

3. Contact the
Connecticut_Sector_Induction_Officer and provide names, majors, year in school, GPAs, and contact information for each member of the interest group.

4. The Connectiuct Sector Induction Officer will then contact the college/university to obtain recognition of the interest group by the institution.

5. Once the institution recognizes the interest group, the interested men must fulfill the following requirements in order to undergo the fraternity’s induction process:
     a. Perform two (2) community service projects
     b. Conduct one (1) fundraising event
     c. Participate in one (1) social program with a neighboring chapter
     d. And any other projects which may have been added to the requirements


6. Upon completing the Interest Group requirements, the group will compile proof of their activities and mail it to the Connecticut Sector Induction Officer.

7. After reviewing and confirming the Interest Group requirements have been satisfied, the Connecticut Sector Induction Officer will contact the institution and inform the proper administrators the interest group is ready to begin the fraternity’s induction process.

8. Once the CT Sector Board receives the necessary approval from the institution, the group must mail official transcripts and induction fees to the National Director of Expansion. Please note in order to participate in the induction process, the interested student must be enrolled full-time and possess a minimum 2.3 GPA.

9. Upon successfully completing the induction process, the new brothers will be permitted to operate on the campus as brothers of Lambda Theta Phi.

10. Upon beoming brothers of Lambda Theta Phi, the gentlemen must represent the fraternity in a respectable and professional fashion, and uphold the vision of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
